Robotics programs
Placer Robotics offers VEX IQ, VEX V5, combat robotics, and outreach programs for students in grades 3–12. Students work in teams, build and program robots, solve problems, and take on more responsibility as their skills develop.
Students may enter through a camp, school workshop, VEX IQ team, VEX V5 team, or combat robotics program.

The next level: aluminum chassis, sensors, autonomous routines, and competition strategy. Placer Robotics fields middle school and high school V5 teams competing toward regional, state, and world-level events.
Explore VEX V5 →Combat Robotics
Students design and fabricate fighting robots — CAD, 3D printing, machining, electronics, repair, and strategy — competing through the Impact Robotics League, Sacramento Bot Battles, and national events including NRL Nationals.
Explore Combat Robotics →Outreach
Free and subsidized robotics for kids who aren't on a full-season team — RISE workshops, the Girl Powered workshop, community demos, and startup help for groups launching their own teams.
