Placer Robotics and Sierra College Mechatronics are working together on a 15-pound combat robotics arena for youth and collegiate competition, college instruction, industry demonstrations, and regional workforce engagement.

The arena is being designed for regional events, school demonstrations, competitions, and industry programs — not for one permanent venue. It breaks down, travels, and sets up where the region needs it.
A name that travels with it
The design carries ten roof-edge sponsor panels and a full base band around the raised platform. A founding partner's name rides with the arena to every competition, demonstration, and classroom it visits.

The engineering
Designed as a modular system
Floor cassettes, door modules, a staged roof deck, and a raised platform grid — a system designed to be fabricated in parts, assembled for an event, and packed down to travel.
