Combat Robotics Recap

Sacramento Bot Battles Recap

Sacramento Bot Battles was a huge success! The event featured 20 teams vying for the California Combat Championships title. Grizz, built by Team Kodiak from Redding claimed 1st place.

Placer Robotics hosted the event, and our combat team had a strong showing. Dishwasher secured 2nd place, while RGBeater dominated the King of the Ring Rumble. Additionally, Lunar Eclipse received the "Coolest Bot" award in a vote by fellow builders.

Thank you to all the families who volunteered for setup, teardown, event operations and the VEX VRC & VEX IQ demos!

SXSW Recap

Competing in the 15lb robot weight class, PART robots RGBeater and Dishwasher secured second and third place finishes respectively. The first-ever event served as a springboard for the upcoming BattleBots High School and College League, tentatively planned for the 24-25 season.
