VEX Robotics Summer Workshops!

Calling all aspiring robot builders & programmers! PART is offering 2 fantastic STEM & robotics summer workshop courses! Learn all about robotics and programming from the award-winning PART high school age VEX Competition teams!
These classes are perfect for students in 5-8th grade that are interested in robotics and enjoy working in small groups. Space is limited, so register now! Choose from either course, or register for both classes and receive a $25 discount!
VEX V5 ROBOTICS BUILDERS COURSE & Mini-competition
Our VEX Robotics builders course is perfect for 5-8th grade students interested in STEM and engineering! Working in small teams, students design and build their own VEX V5 robot. On Day 2, teams get to face off in an afternoon mini-tournament where the ultimate PART Summer Camp champion will be crowned!
Suitable for 5th-8th graders, no experience required
Our builders class is taught by PART high school VEX competition experts, including the receipts of the Build Award at the 2019 VRC California State Championships, the Design Award at the NorCal Rumble, and the Judges Award at the Google Signature Event.

VEX robotics C++ programming !
Our VEX Robotics C++ Programming course is perfect for 5-8th grade students that love to code! Students will be introduced to C++ using the VEX programming environment, and learn how to program advanced encoder based movements and V5 sensors to complete a challenging autonomous course.
Suitable for 5th-8th graders, ideally with basic programming experience
Our VEX C++ Programming class is taught by PART high school VEX competition experts with experience in C++ programming and the new VEX V5 system, including programmers from the winners of the 2019 NorCal Rumble Robot Skills Award.
Cost: $125 programming only. $100 if attending BOTH Courses ($25 discount!)

PART high school students from Granite Bay and Del Oro will teach all classes, with an adult PART mentor in attendance. Classes will be held at the HackerLab classroom in Rocklin, CA! Instructor to Student ratio will be a minimum of 5:1.
PART — Placer Advanced Robotics and Technology — is a 501(c)3 non profit organization - all proceeds from the classes will be directly used to purchase equipment and supplies for our competitive robotics teams. For more information on the PART programs, visit PlacerRobotics.org!
